Native Chicken

This feathered friend is commonly found in the “backyard” of rural areas. Every time we visit our province, we always request our father to cook native chicken for us. Native chicken is known for its distinct flavor and low-fat lean meat. Although it is quite expensive you can never replace its unique taste. Favorite recipes are: tinolang (chicken soup), adobo and inasal (barbeque or roasted). No one can replace the recipe of my father – he calls it “tinibuok”. Yummy!!
