Nail biting is common among children from five to ten years old. It is a problematic behavior which should be corrected before they reach adulthood. Constant biting of nails will result in short and ragged nails. Cuticles may be destroyed and infection of the nails may set in. So we have to correct it before it’s too late.

I remember I liked to bite nails while I am young. But can't remember how I getting off with it... :) True it is not a good habit because it is not hygiene and looks ugly.
